Dream, Delirium, and Death

I'M SO PROUD OF THIS PICTURE.

It's so amazing. It's been done since...whatever the date at the bottom is...August 11th, I guess, lol.

I have shown this off to almost no one because this picture was and always has been intended as a present for my friend Matt. Because he is one of my bestest friends and I wanted to draw something and print it for him. This is a 53 layers, not to mention the 20 or so layers I originally used for the line art before flattening the line art layers...Plus this is the only piece that I started on my PC with Photoshop CS2 and finished on my Mac with Photoshop CS3 (because my Mac was shiny and new and would be less laggy).

I must've spent...god I don't know how many hours on this, just making it perfect. Or at least as perfect as I could. Since I knew I was putting this to press for sure, I wanted it to be even neater than my normal work.

And this is the result. And I sent it to Matt and he loves it very much and gave me permission to put it up and I'm so glad that he did cuz I REALLY wanted to show this off, lol.

Anyway. Enough of me going on about how I did it, more about who's in it.

Dream, Delirium, and Death are all from the series Sandman by Neil Gaiman. I like doing chibis of these three the best and for some reason they get noses. I'm not sure why, exactly.

But either way, I love this picture. ^_^ I'm particularly pleased with their hands. Dream and Del's anyway, since Death's are behind her back, lol.
